I love growing vines that are colorful and will attract bees, hummingbirds or butterflies and this vine will do both with its perennial flowering vines that are adorned with beautiful purple flowers.

 

These types of vines, flower vines can also be annual vines in colder climates but grow best in zones 7 to 11 and likes full sun to partially shaded areas and are considered to be tender, tropical perennials.

 

I’ve heard this plant may be considered a protected species in some areas but I’m not positive.
