In May 2020, five youth representatives from African countries were invited by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) to Beijing to participate in the forum and share personal experiences during anti epidemic. After meeting with Ambassador Lin Song Tian the President of CPAFFC, they introduced the first concept of setting up an association for China-Africa youths engagement, and was received with warm praise and a call to action.
